American Advertising Awards
Greater San Francisco Competition

The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting over 30,000 entries every year in local competitions such the Greater San Francisco competition. Gold Winners in this competition move up to one of 15 District competitions for the chance to advance to the National Finals. In addition to a professional competition, there is a concurrent student competition.

With over 200 categories covering all aspects of advertising, the American Advertising Awards Greater San Francisco competition is the first step towards the illustrious Gold “ADDY”.
 

PLEASE NOTE:
ALL ENTRIES (EXCEPT THOSE NOTED BELOW) MUST HAVE A PHYSICAL SUBMISSION DELIVERED. FAILURE TO SUBMIT A PHYSICAL ENTRY MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION. SEE PREPARATION REQUIREMENTS OUTLINED IN THE RULES. ENTRIES IN THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES MAY BE SUBMITTED DIGITALLY:

Entries in all Online/Interactive categories (#31-40 and 63)
Entries in all Film, Video & Sound categories (#41-59)
Entries in select Elements of Advertising categories (#74-87)

ALL OTHER ENTRIES MUST HAVE A PHYSICAL ENTRY SUBMITTED.

January 31, 2020 Late Deadline To Submit Entries (subject to a late fee)

March 5, 2020 Professional ADDY Gala (Date subject to change)
March 31, 2020 Deadline to order Award Duplicates or upgrade to a trophy and Forward to District 14 Competition

Entry Fees
Entry Fees Listed are good through the deadline day. Any entries submitted after the deadline day are subject to a $25 per entry late fee.

Please note that depending on the number of entries, there may be an overall savings to join the club when you submit entries.

AAF Member Individual Entry: $175
AAF Member Campaign Entry: $205
Non-Member Individual Entry: $210
Non-Member Campaign Entry: $245
Student Individual: $50
Student Campaign: $55
